Wisteria

An online plant brand with a people-forward presence and home-grown touches.

Wisteria is a plant nursery and online shop based in San Francisco that focuses on merging nature with urban life by making their plants and flowers affordable and accessable to all, regardless of class or skill level.

The proposal consisted of a new brand identity and packaging that reflects a clean, sustainable style with a touch of retro spontaneity. The logotype, angular yet organic, is purposefully hollwed out to reduce ink usage and send a message about sustainable design practices. The three marks are used as modular accents to accompany the brand’s minimal layout and as signifiers of the brand’s product divisions. The overal design system aims to strike a balance between function and form, making it smart and cleanly produced without sacrificing its simple beauty, which comes from the flora itself.
